My Day at Chihuly

Just because it was an awful rainy, doesn't mean it needs to be wasted by staying in bed all day. So, I took the opportunity to take my first trip to the Chihuly Museum. If you aren't familiar with Chihuly, its an amazing blown glass installment recently brought to St. Pete. As we walked through the museum we couldn't help but be in "aw" of the glass sculptures and art. If you're in the area I highly recommend checking it out. You won't be disappointed.
In this look I've layered it up a bit. I love layering because it allows me to accomplish more with my clothing while working with less, and, ultimately, to stretch the limits of my closet. Being able to wear a one piece a 100 times is a rewarding feeling! Since this Zara coat has a bit of a louder pattern, I kept the silhouette simple with a romantic lace white dress. Using red as an accent is one of my favorite ways to play with a look. In this case, thats exactly what I did, using the belt, hat, and bag, to give the finishing touch with the pop of color.
