Its that time of the year again! The Kapok tree is in full bloom. Just once a year this beautiful tree blooms these amazing red flowers shown in the photos above. I've grown up just miles from this tree and this seems to be the first year I really stopped to admire the breathtaking beauty. It's become quite the spectacle here in St. Pete, tons of people were stopping in their tracks to either take pictures, or just fall into a state of euphoria. I was literally climbing a tree for my blog! lol
