I'm a sucker for a timeless shirt dress.  Especially this Missguided little number, It's so easy to add layers or simply throw on by it's self. A few tips when wearing a shirt dress 1) Just because it's a shirt dress doesn't mean it needs to be oversized or baggy, simply choose one that has a more relaxed cut and easy to move in. 2) The hemline is important to consider as well. I wouldn't normally wear a shirt dress that is floor length, but I made an exception for this one, because of it's high slits that showed just enough leg, or else it would be too overwhelming for my height. 3) I agree, some shirt dress' can be quite shapeless, if you like you need a waistline then simply add a belt to cinch at the waist. 4) Finally, layering! My favorite way to play up an outfit. Don't be afraid to get creative with the layering. I simply took a solid purple tank/dress under the shirt dress.
It's getting way too hot outside to add a ton of layers (unfortunately). I'm like the only Floridian that doesn't like summer. It's just too hot and humid!
