Loews Royal Pacific Resort

A couple weeks ago Aaron and I had an incredible opportunity to stay at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort for two nights, as well a 3 day park to park pass to Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. It's been years since we've last had a mini vacation at one of the resorts and the theme park's which is crazy considering we only live just an hour away from Orlando, so we were so excited to relax and enjoy the weekend. The Universal Orlando Resorts offers five on site property hotels, each resort having its own unique theme. The Loews Royal Pacific is a tropical paradise with exotic food, white sand, and a lagoon style pool, not to mention you're within walking distance from City Walk and Universal Studios.

From the moment we walked into the resort it was such a relaxing atmosphere, being that it was just a few weeks before Christmas the entire hotel was decorated with all these beautiful lights and stunning tree at the entrance. We didn't waste much after arriving and decided to explore the resort and see all that it had to offer, first we made our way to the hotels biggest attraction which is the lagoon style pool and relaxed under the cabana. The resort has plenty of perks to go along with your stay, one of the best perks we took advantage of was the water taxi to and from Universals City Walk, this was incredibly convenient! The water taxis is about 7 minutes to City Walk and runs every 10 minutes and starts at 8am and the last pick up is at 2am, this made our trips back and fourth from the park so easy!

A few other benefits you get staying at the Loews Royal Pacific;
Free Universal Express Pass- This is such an amazing value! The park to park express pass usually runs between $60 to $80, these are FREE with your stay! With the passes the longest we waited in line was about 20 minutes, which gave us so much more time exploring the park and not rushing around or waiting in long lines.
Early Admissions- This is another huge perk when staying at the Loews Pacific Resort, you gain one hour early admissions to Universal Studios. It's a good head start on the rest of the general admissions.
On Site Dining- The Royal Pacific offers 4 restaurants to give you plenty of variety during your stay.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so most of our time spent at the parks were at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that now expands from Island of Adventure to Universal Studios with the Hogwarts Express connecting you between. The entire Widarding World is like a dream come true! We started off at Hogsmeade, the first addition to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. A few of my favorite highlights you can find the infamous Hogwarts Castle, Honey Dukes Sweet Shop, and Olivanders wand shop. From there we hopped onto the Hogwarts Express ride over to Universal where we stepped right into Diagon Alley, the newest addition to Universal. This was my first time in Diagon Alley, and it did not disappoint! Universal Studios and Island of Adventure has plenty more to see than just the Wizarding World and we took our time enjoying the rests of the parks.
