This was a terribly rainy day, but I was all smiles because I had my new Christmas present to use! As a gift to myself I bought an 85mm lens.

This was a terribly rainy day, but I was all smiles because I had my new Christmas present to use! As a gift to myself I bought an 85mm lens. It's my first addition to my camera, and I was ecstatic to start using it. Any fashion /beauty blogger, I highly recommend this lens. It give the perfect blurred out effect keeping the focus on the main subject.

I'm just starting to settle back into a regular routine since the holidays have now passed and I can focus back on my blog post. I'm keeping it pretty casual with this weeks look. I'm wearing a white flowing Freepeople dress layered with a knit sweater, and to give this look the final touch I added a freepeople harness belt. It's a little edgier than I normally do, but hey, its the new year I'm trying to get a little outside of my comfort zone.
